Take the Central Kentucky Concert Band for a test drive! We’ll be having open rehearsals on September 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Come sit in with the band! We meet at 7:30 PM in the band room in the Mitchell Fine Arts Center at Transylvania University in Lexington.
The band will be performing three concerts for its 2016-2017 season on December 4th, March 5th, and May 7th. All concerts will be at 3 PM. The band also has a dynamic summer series of outdoor concerts.
Adults from all over the region are members and are engineers, civil servants, teachers, business persons, accountants, and represent many other occupations and backgrounds. The band has a diverse playbook from contemporary music to classical literature.
