This season, the Central Kentucky Concert Band (CKCB), is seeking sponsors. The purpose is to increase the band’s revenue. The band operates on a very small annual budget (less than $20,000) which does not provide enough funds to purchase all the music the Music Director would like to present to our audiences. The current budget allocates very little for guest soloists, which our audiences seem to like. There are other areas of the budget that would benefit from increased funds.
Every member (approximately 70) of CKCB pays dues for the privilege of being a member of this, the premier community concert band in Central Kentucky. This is a major source of the band’s annual budget.
The Central Kentucky Concert Band is a 501 (c)(3) organization . Donations to CKCB are tax deductible up to the limit of the law.
The cost of being a sponsor for this season is minimum donation of $200 per concert or $500 for the entire season of three concerts. A sponsor may be an individual, a group of individuals or most firms in the central Kentucky area.
