The C3 concert will feature several great musical offerings including “Celebration Fanfare” [Reineke], “Third Suite” [Jager], “Carlyle Trilogy” [Halferty], “Amparito Roca” [Texidor], “Toreador Song” from Carmen” [Bizet, featuring Peter Pickett and TJ Thomas] and “Malaguena” [Lecuona].
Featured Soloist Charlie Kahn will share his incredible artistry with the North American debut of “Concerto del Simun” by Ferrer Ferran.
This concert is the third of the “ABC … It’s As Easy As 1-2-3” 2012-2013 performance season as we musically celebrate the letter “C”, the number “3” and Cinco De Mayo. Peter LaRue serves as the Music Director and Conductor of the Central Kentucky Concert Band.
