Hello, CKCB!
I am pleased to make my first post as your new conductor. Please accept my sincere thanks for the opportunity to rejoin this organization for which I have such respect and affection. I am looking forward eagerly to my “second time around,” working with some old friends and making many new ones through the uniquely human experience of making music together.
The Board met last week and discussed many important topics. I am so impressed with the intelligence and the commitment of the board members, most of whom are new acquaintances. We are all fortunate to have these good people in leadership positions.
While the CKCB is on hiatus, I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer. You will receive further information prior to our first rehearsal on Thursday, September 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Transylvania University.
