Thanks!

We’ve said it before, but something so important is never diminished through repetition: Thanks!

The Central Kentucky Concert Band sends our sincerest thanks to the members,

staff and leadership of the Frankfort Arts Foundation and to the staff and leadership of Kentucky State University as we took our performance to Frankfort last week. The difference between a rehearsal and a performance is having an audience. Playing in front of an audience is when the music becomes “alive.” Thanks to our audience last week for helping us to bring the music to life!

Our relationship to our sponsors and our audiences is critical to our mission of sharing music. As has been said in the  past, we never know who we will touch during a performance: maybe eliciting good memories upon hearing a beloved song; maybe demonstrating that anyone can play music; maybe inspiring the next generation of musicians.

Our next performance will be on Sunday, December 4 at 3 PM at Transylvania University’s Haggin Auditorium. We welcome you to be a part of our audience at that time to help us bring the music to life.
